Richard Sperber Named Co-CEO, ValleyCrest Landscape Companies

ValleyCrest Landscape Companies is pleased to announce that Company President Richard A. Sperber has also been named Co-CEO. The announcement was made by Burton S. Sperber, founder and chief executive officer of ValleyCrest, at the firm’s recent corporate meeting and retreat. “I’m proud of Richard, as a son and as a leader,” said the senior Sperber.  “He has learned the landscape business from the ground up. He has worked in the field, managed large projects, and held various positions in each of the company’s divisions. Today, Richard heads a truly great company, a strong management team, and is committed to our customers, our employees, and maintaining ValleyCrest’s growth. Under Richard’s leadership, ValleyCrest has grown from $450 million eight years ago when he was named president, to $1 billion today.”  Richard is an active member of several professional organizations, including Urban Land Institute and the Young President’s Organization. He also serves on the board of weSpark, a cancer support center in Los Angeles.
