Takeuchi-US, Atlanta, Georgia, gave the Banks Jackson Food Bank in Commerce, Georgia, food for 200 Thanksgiving dinners and $2,500 to purchase additional turkeys for families in need Nov. 12.
The donation, totaling $4,000, came about when Takeuchi-US hosted a food and monetary donation drive leading up to its company-wide family fun day in October.

Takeuchi-US agreed to double whatever its employees raised, which resulted in the donation amount.

“We wanted to host Family Fun Day for our employees so that they could bond after a long year apart following the pandemic,” says Takeuchi-US President Jeff Stewart. “It was also a great way for us to come together and do something for our community. I’m proud of how our employees stepped up and raised a significant amount of money that will help local families enjoy Thanksgiving dinners that they wouldn’t have otherwise been able to afford.”
