Gastonia, North Carolina-based Loving<\/a>, a company that performs landscaping, hardscaping and sod farm operations, has purchased the business division of H&H Sod Farm, while allowing Danny and Lois Hall to maintain ownership of the 3,500-acre tract of land located right outside of Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so excited and feel tremendously blessed for the opportunity to adopt the incredible 51-year old history that Danny and Lois Hall have built at H&H. Their focus on their team and community is aligned with our mission as an organization,\u201d says Mike Haynes, founder and CEO of Loving. \u201cAlthough our company has been built solely through organic growth rather than acquisitions, we found that the shared values and belief in fostering strong communities made this opportunity a natural fit. We really are excited for the opportunity to welcome the H&H family of team members, clients and vendors into the Loving family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Halls will maintain ownership of the land the farm sits on through the transaction with Loving. \u201cWe are excited to turn the reins over to Loving as we have gained an immense amount of respect for their people and their operating principles,\u201d says Danny Hall, owner of H&H Sod Farm. \u201cAn ability to maintain ownership of our land, while passing the torch to such a top-notch organization is a win-win for both Lois and I, as well as our entire family. The work that they do through their outreach efforts in the communities that they serve is beyond astonishing and something that will make a forever impact in our community, and in the state of Florida.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cH&H Sod Farm is an incredibly well-oiled machine. Our goal is to strategically build upon the strong foundation that has been laid by the Halls and their management team over the years, as we place a laser focus on building upon the history that has been established with this operation,\u201d says Brian Reed, southeastern farming director for Loving.<\/p>\n

In addition to the H&H Sod Farm acquisition, Loving has created a strategic relationship with both Scotts and Bethel Farms to join in the production and distribution of ProVista Turf in Florida.<\/p>\n
